The Three Kingdoms is a casual game that we developed in-house.
The game is named after a well-known Tang Dynasty novel, The
Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which tells the story of the
struggle for power among three states following the collapse
of the Han Dynasty in AD 190. The game takes place in the
same historical setting and each of the famous generals from
that period appear in the game as do certain other well-known
weapons that were described in the Tang Dynasty novel.
The Three Kingdoms is a combat game in which players can
hire, capture and train their own troops. Combat is carried
out in the SRPG (Hybrid of SLG and RPG) mode.
The game has four primary armies, each consisting of of infantry,
archers, cavalry and sorcerers, and two hidden armies of bandits
and pirates. Each army has its own characteristics and can
be promoted to higher levels, which are decided by players
according to their personal preferences.
