Tianqiao Chen, Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer |

Tianqiao Chen has served as chairman and chief executive officer since Shanda’s inception in 1999. Mr. Chen served as director of the office of the president of Kinghing Trust & Investment Co., Ltd from 1998 to 1999, and held various management roles with Shanghai Lujiazui Group from 1994 to 1998. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Fudan University.
Mr. Chen serves as an alternative member of the 15th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League. He currently serves as an executive board member of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce. In addition, he is a member of Shanghai Games Committee and serves as vice chairman of China Games Committee, vice president of Shanghai Youth Development Foundation, and vice chairman of Shanghai Information Services Association. He is a member of board of directors at Fudan University.

Qunzhao Tan, President and Chief Technical Officer |

Qunzhao Tan has served as president since April 2008 and chief technology officer since June 2006. He has also served as a director since October 2006. Previously, he has served as Shanda’s director of research & development, vice president, senior vice president, and executive senior vice president. Prior to joining Shanda, Mr. Tan worked as an assistant with the Institute of Clean Coal Technology of East China University of Science and Technology from 1996 to 1999. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.

Danian Chen, Chief Operating Office |

Danian Chen has served as chief operating officer since April 2008 and as a director since 1999. Previously, he served as Shanda’s director of products, vice president, senior vice president, and executive senior vice president. Prior to joining Shanda, he held various positions with Star Trans International Ltd, Haijie Shipping Agency Company, and Jinyi Network Company from 1996 to 1999.

Grace Wu, Chief Financial Officer |

Grace Wu joined Shanda in October 2007 as vice president of strategic investments and was appointed as chief financial officer in November 2007. Previously, Ms. Wu spent five years with AU Optronics Corp., where she was responsible for financial planning and analysis, investor relations and capital markets activities. Prior to that, Ms. Wu worked at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers where she divided her responsibilities between the equity capital markets and investment banking divisions. Ms. Wu holds a bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University and a Master of International Affairs in international banking and finance from Columbia University.

Qianqian Luo |

Qianqian Luo has served as Shanda’s director since 1999. Prior to that, Ms. Luo served as the Company’s director of administration and vice president. Prior to joining Shanda, Ms. Luo served as project manager at the Investment Banking Department of Kinghing Trust & Investment Co., Ltd. She holds a bachelor's degree in international investment from China Finance Institution.

Jun Tang |

Jun Tang has served as Shanda’s director since April 2004. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China, a master's degree in electronic engineering from Japan, and a doctorate degree in computer science from the U.S.

Jingsheng Huang |

Jingsheng Huang has served as Shanda’s director since 2005. He has served as managing director of Bain Capital since October 2005. Previously, he served as general manager, China, of SOFTBANK Asia Infrastructure Fund (SAIF) from 2002 to 2005, and as director on the board of twelve SAIF portfolio companies for technology, telecommunication and media companies. Prior to that, Mr. Huang held positions as a partner at SUNeVision Ventures, senior manager of strategic investments at Intel Capital, director of Asia Pacific research operations at Gartner Group, and Vice President of marketing of Mtone Wireless. Mr. Huang holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master's degree in sociology from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Bruno Wu |

Bruno Wu has served as Shanda’s director since 2006. Mr. Wu is the founder and chairman of The Sun Media Investment Group, China’s largest privately-owned media group. Mr. Wu served as co-chairman of SINA Corporation from 2001 to 2002, and as Chief Operating Officer of ATV from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Wu holds a degree of French language and literature from the University of Savoie, France, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Culver-Stockton College in the US, a master’s degree in international relations from Washington University, and a Ph.D. from the International Politics Department of Fudan University, Shanghai, China.

Chengyu Xiong |

Chengyu Xiong has served as Shanda’s director since 2005. Currently, Mr. Xiong serves as professor, deputy dean of the School of Journalism & Communication, director of the New Media Studies Center, and director of the Cultural Industry Studies Center in Tsinghua University. Mr. Xiong holds a doctorate from Brigham Young University in the US.
